Hello Parents,
This month in CAP, the girls are working on completing their Career Project. Each girl had the opportunity to take an interest inventory at www.onetonline.org. The results showed them their areas of interest based on their answers to the questions. The results also gave them examples of several jobs that fall into each interest area. From there the girls had the chance to explore any of the jobs in their interest area(s), and now their explorations will be shared with the class in the form of a poster. Each girl will have the chance to present to their poster to the class after spring break.
Also this month is registration month at Black River. The girls had the opportunity to view a PowerPoint presentation that outlined all of the BR graduation requirements. We then worked together to fill out their schedule for next year. If you would like to view BR's Program of Study, you can find it on the BR website. Please watch for the registration forms to come home for parent signatures. Forms are due by March 24.
If you have any questions, please call or email at 616-355-0055 extension 159 or [email protected].
